After owning the car for a couple years, I felt that a little more power would be a nice addition to the car.
After weighing the options, I decided to go with a Jackson Racing supercharger. At the time, it was the only CARB exempt option for forced induction, and since I have to pass emissions in Atlanta, it was my only option, A good friend of mine who takes apart broken and wrecked Miatas came across a nice used setup, and sold it to me at a price I couldn't resist.
Before going with the supercharger, it made sense for me to make sure the engine was in good shape. Ran compression tests first, and found less than 2 psi difference between any cylinders. Ran it on a dyno, results below:
